Hi I’m Laura the designer, the artist behind this course.
I finished my degree in graphic design in 2020, which shaped the way that I understand art and self-expression. I believe that everyone should be given the opportunity to play around with art, that there is no right or wrong way to create. However, as art history teaches us, certain skills strengthen our ability to express ourselves effectively.
In art it means developing a solid foundation of the art basics, a good eye and a steady hand.
This course is designed to help you develop those foundational skills – training your eyes to observe, your hand to draw with confidence, and giving you the tools to express yourself in whatever artistic direction you choose
