Hi, I’m Lize, the artist behind Lady M Broidery 🤍
I’ve been working with embroidery for the past 10 years, but my journey started as a visual artist. I taught myself how to embroider by combining my background in painting and drawing with a completely new medium — thread.
Through a lot of trial and error, I learned how to use colour, shading, and texture in embroidery, especially through thread painting.
Embroidery has become more than just a creative outlet for me — it’s a deeply calming and therapeutic process. I love how a few simple stitches can transform something ordinary into something beautiful.
I teach the way I wish I had been taught in the beginning: gently, practically, and with patience. This course is a safe and encouraging space for beginners to learn, experiment, and grow in confidence - no pressure, no perfection required.
